an cd_rachel : I don't know Brisbane well, but for general tips: most importantly somewhere that looks fun to be dressed up. Other than that, if you're not filming, somewhere dark is fine and might be worth doing a few times for yourself just for the thrill of it and to acclimatise before finding somewhere brighter and riskier for filming. But if you are you'll need decent light at night time or you won't get anything visible on video, which can be really deflating. Public facilities can be good for that - toilets, libraries, train station or small shopping area that's empty at night. A great place i found was a PCYC in Marrickville that was well lit but had quiet spots away from the road, while still being next to a busy area and with parking on a side street. I also try to find somewhere with an out (easy escape route if i get scared). Ideally somewhere to park your car that's the opposite direction of likely trouble. i.e. leave your car on the other side of a park to where you might be flashing near a busy road, so you can walk away from potential trouble towards your exit. A few late night walks around your neighbourhood can turn up some good options, so always be scanning as you go about your day. It'll also make walks or drives around your neighbourhood more interesting, when you're looking for somwhere to be perverted
